Dalai Lama, Obama to meet amid controversy:
Russia Today (RT) - US President Barack Obama met with the Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama at the White House today, despite Chinas threats to the US if it did not cancel the meeting. Was the meeting worth it? Will China retaliate? According to Webster Tarpley, this is a monumental affront to china.


Obama welcomes the Dalai Lama:
Russia Today (RT) - United States President Barack Obama welcomed the Dalai Lama to the White House today, despite repeated objections from China. This meeting has put a strain on the two nations relationship, one that is already strained. Ray Lotta says both nations rely heavy on each other, the United States relies on the China for cheap labor, China relies on the US for inflows of foreign capital.
